What your job area at InVision will look like?

Staff scheduling in contact centers is a complex challenge due to the balance between staff demand and supply, and the wide range of deployment options. With our software, we solve a variety of scheduling problems based on ILP solvers and problem-specific preprocessing heuristics, but we are open to completely new approaches. As an Operations Research Scientist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of Software Engineers, Mathematicians, Designers, as well as Product and Customer Experts. Together, the team designs and is responsible for the complete product development cycle, always with the goal of developing solutions for our customers that are as innovative as they are simple.

Job requirements

How you will contribute?

  • Develop new algorithms and models in the area of shift scheduling for contact centers
  • Implement these algorithms and models in Python
  • Perform benchmarks and optimize runtimes
  • Promote the exchange of knowledge with your colleagues and develop your own expertise
  • Participate actively in our open and team-focused corporate culture
  • Experiment with new technologies and regularly leave your comfort zone in order to learn something new every day
