For our workforce management portfolio we develop SaaS products with a particular focus on Predictive Analytics and Scheduling. Our interdisciplinary teams consist of Machine Learning Engineers, Software Engineers, UX/UI-Designers, Product and Customer Success Managers, and have the end-to-end responsibility for one product area. For our forecast product, we analyze data from our customers and determine patterns and trends such as seasonalities. From this, we derive models that enable our customers to plan their staffing requirements as precisely as possible. To achieve this, we utilize machine learning as well as classical time series analysis models.
What you'll do:
Develop high-quality forecast solutions and take architectural decisions on our automated forecast system from a machine learning perspective
Implement experiments and research for model development and automated model selection process
Develop forecast pipelines from cleaning data to post processing
Collaborate and pair with software engineers to deliver high-quality forecast models that are integrated in our product
Evaluate, monitor and benchmark model performance
Solve customers’ problems regarding forecast algorithms by fixing algorithmic bugs, and improving the existing models
What you bring to the role:
At least 3 years of professional experience in designing and maintaining automated Machine Learning pipelines in a productive system
Expertise in classical time series forecasting methods, e.g. regression, ARIMA
Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms applicable to time series forecasting such as RNN, LSTM etc.
Solid foundation of mathematical statistics
Sound programming skills to quickly prototype and test models, and to perform analysis
